wiltedbliss 915
This. Also, Gaga always says that her collabs are completely organic and come forth out of a mutual respect. By doing something like this, not only does it go against her writing all of her own stuff, she is also willing to work with DJs who are "compromising" their own artistic integrity, who don't respect her artistry and who are too ashamed to even put their name on the final product. That's exactly why The Greatest Thing didn't happen either, but when it's the other way around it's fine? I love Aura but the story behind it makes me cringe. She wrote the song :lmao:

Kermit the frog 1,892
This is the bottom line, here. If they didn't want to be commercialized, don't sell your song to Lady Gaga for money. Simple. Ikr? Schisophrenic much or what? Well, expect a squirrel to be knocked out of the tree. I hope gaga scraps that instrumental completely or even the entire song. I wouldn't expect her to keep it the way it is, it's blemished forever by what they said.
Duke 437
I want her to drop the song. Idgaf, they don't deserve the money.
Crash 11
Is anyone else wondering why Zedd said "There's a problem, Lady Gaga wants your song"? I'm guessing it's because he already knew what their position was on these "cheap" popstars using their songs so he knew they'd have a "problem" with it. Levine 23,065
we see ourselves as a band with a high artistic integrity and we avoid commercialization and doing cheap things such as Britney or Gaga. But suddenly there's a concrete offer on the table and saying "No" is a mistake, because it's a guaranteed lifelong pension. And where is your integrity now? Selling yourself for money is the lowest of the low. as long as we are signed under our private names. But she refused, she wanted "Infected Mushroom" to be credited. So, we decided to go for it thinking it won't make the cut or she'll eventually change her mind. Again, where is your artistic integrity? You accepted to be credited as Infected Mushroom because she paid your asses. Accept it, I can understand. But DO NOT TALK about artistic integrity because I laugh. They have lost "artistic integrity" and professionalism, I guess.
Emvee 7,864
:megaflop: Gaga, don't ever give them the pleasure of releasing Aura as an actual single. Better yet, scrap it. If there was ever something she should trash, it's Aura. Done with this messy ass song. Edited October 5, 2013 by Fading
Levine 23,065
Is anyone else wondering why Zedd said "There's a problem, Lady Gaga wants your song"? Because Zedd is worse than them. You just have to read his twitter to get that. Edited October 5, 2013 by Levine
Didymus 34,379
 This x1000 All four of them made a mistake. why doesn't she just write her own music? i like aura but i thought gaga was above picking a song and singing over it like a kid in a sweet shop. she's even said as much of herself, i don't understand why she did this. i'm kind of glad they criticised her, hopefully it'll put her off from pulling a stunt like that again. it's disappointing to me as a fan of her work. Anyone with such integrity and respect for music as an expression of art wouldn't say some s*** like they did. I'm just sayin
