She wants to rely on most of the sales for the second week and she wants to combine it with bigger Airplay and streaming. She will also avoid judgement for first week sales. Everybody knows, that the Judas sales first week were PRETTY DAMN GOOD considering it was only 3 days. If it had had a full week of sales, it would have debuted top 3 easily. This way radios wouldn't have dropped it, thinking people dont like it. Of course Judas could have never be a 5 million seller, but with better radio, it might have reached 2 million in the long run. The friday release KILLED every potential it had. I have to agree with you. Charts are important whether people like it or not. If Judas had been released on Monday it would have appeared to be a bigger hit, which possibly could have increased its radio play. I just don't understand Interscope sometimes. Honestly, when artists reach that level of fame GaGa has, they need to take advantage of that. Artists should always release singles on a Monday, since their loyal fans will buy it right away. This only increases their chance of debuting in the top ten, which looks good. It's psychological. People like hearing that a song is top ten. Luc 4,775 Posted October 15, 2013 Share Posted October 15, 2013 Me, i actually did that for them, but they gave me list of stations they wanted so i included only these Ah, it'd be AMAZING for everybody on this site if you were able to put quite some effort into it and make 4 sections (Pop/Rhythmic/HAC/AC) where we can request on ALL radio stations and one section where you can request on the 10 most important of each station, that'd be truly amazing but it'd take a lot of time (but in the end make requesting so much faster for most of us).
