Unless they were just sending it to radio on Friday and releasing it to iTunes Sunday at midnight. Katy's label has the right idea. Maybe Interscope sees how much Applause has increased on weekends and wants to take advantage of that?I will be praying hard that it's only being released to radio that Friday and midnight Sunday iTunes release. To them it won't lose 3 days of sales because they don't close down after a week like Billboard. Sales will keep on coming. It's money that's important to them and they can get it with promo. Judas had the benefit of the album promotion... was it fine? Everybody knows, that the Judas sales first week were PRETTY DAMN GOOD considering it was only 3 days. If it had had a full week of sales, it would have debuted top 3 easily. This way radios wouldn't have dropped it, thinking people dont like it. Of course Judas could have never be a 5 million seller, but with better radio, it might have reached 2 million in the long run. The friday release KILLED every potential it had.
