The fact that you think ARTPOP would slay over Sex Dreams aside , Applause is not a flop. I don't even think you know what a flop means. Get out. How did it go through holidays on the radio? I remember it was released in the end of October, too... There isn't anything to worry about. I assure you that it's just Stan delusion Songs that have already taken off will stall during the Christmas freeze, but will pick back up in January. The problem occurs when a song is still looking for traction and the freeze just kills it off. I think that the fan delusion stems for the fact that MTN was released at around the same time and declined during Christmas. That is a complete different case, though, because it was a fifth single that people didn't like anyways.
