nick4bty 2,758
The Crazy Kids feat. will.i.am thing was a disaster. The fact that people were going out of their way to buy the non-will.i.am version The original version was the one that kept the song alive on iTunes lol. RCA really ****ed up that one. They basically ****ed up her entire album. They were too busy paying attention to P!nk and JT
ryhanna 3,507
Yeah, I really don't know what happened. Things started off pretty decently with Die Young, and then... The material was all strong, it just didn't catch on for some reason. It was a very sudden halt.
Nick 29
Ke$ha is just the kind of artist that people don't get invested with though... it's trashy (not to be taken offensively), dirty, party kind of pop music. The demographic that fits these likes isn't the kind of individual to go out and BUY an entire album of hers.
nick4bty 2,758
Meanwhile, MTV2 is airing Britney's greatest music videos right now. And it really makes me realize how ****ty WB is. It's kind of sad, because Brit's had so many ****ing fantastic videos. But WB is just....lazy.
Gerrard174 700
The material was all strong, it just didn't catch on for some reason. It was a very sudden halt. it means lead single is not determinant for success of an album era.
Runway 27,876
And people thought Bieber was over The scalp is endless Too bad it will flop after the first day...
PdogtheDaibutsu 717
it means lead single is not determinant for success of an album era. which means ARTPOP is still coming for that 50M opening week

Btrs 10
I thought 1D killed the Biebs but I guess I was wrong. He must still have a massive fanbase

Such a shame. If I were in charge of her career, I'd release ToY and give it a proper video. Another lacking feature in K$ is her videography. Babel 41,629
Too bad it will flop after the first day... At this point, it seems like he just need from one to three days of sales to outsold everybody Giving me Born this way friday release teas. PS. I'm not meltdowning, is just that I didn't see it coming.
nick4bty 2,758
I thought WB was good actually Compared to her other videos though... Like watching them all back to back, and then watching the WB video.... It just feels like Britney isn't here mentally this era. Which is weird after all the talk about this being her most personal album lol

I think it's the terrible production that killed the song. It sounds like a remix

If I were in charge of her career, I'd release ToY and give it a proper video. Another lacking feature in K$ is her videography. It really is a shame, because Warrior is way better than A/C lol. But Kesha was the "in" thing then. The buzz was driving album sales. Die Young was a huge hit, but she had no buzz going into her album. And the promotion was terrible from the getgo. I blame Will.i.am. I think it's the terrible production that killed the song. It sounds like a remix Which is also weird because S&S was good. But S&S has a clear chorus and a catchy hook and the song is just structured really well. WB is a mess from beginning to end, structure-wise. I still don't know if it even has a chorus lol
