It is still getting 100+ spins from pop. i think it has a chance to go top 5 on pop and radio as long as it stays stable when S & S and SS drops. but of course, WBall and HOWGH are catching up so they might leapfrog applause Not if we have the album cover by the iTunes release. So we have Royals, Wrecking Balls, Roar, HOWGH and Wake Me Up for top 5 for sure. Next will be The Fox, BL and HG. So either Applause will be #9 again, or it can overtake either BL or HG or both .. though i doubt it since BL is too strong on airplay while HG is stable on every part - streaming, airplay and sales Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not to mention, Aura is the type of song that could create the buzz Applause never could. While Applause is safe and radio friendly, Aura is digital friendly and buzzworthy, but radio would completely ignore it. The perfect promo single.
