Sorry, but you don't even live in the U.S, how could you know the impact it's having on people?

Applause is being talked about, and I say that from looking at social media like Twitter and first hand experiences.

guys you want to stay delusional, then OK I won't argue with you for something THIS obvious.  And the same way I saw the Impact TFM, BTW had in the USA without living there the same way I can see about Applause.

 

But Applause isn't a Radio hit. Its one of those hits that you get to see everywhere, on TV, festivals etc and everybody loves them. And Sumertime Sadness has huge impact. In my country it has much more impact than all the other songs you mentioned

I also don't think that Roar has more impact even though it sells more. Applause has also much more impact than Jay Z and Timberlake. Applause is definitely not a dominant hit like Pokerface or Bad Romance or even BTW but it has its own way to go with the public without outshining other songs. It truly feels like a Rihanna hit.

I know about SS because I live in Bulgaria and It was a smash last year...  And you just lost me here.. Roar has not only bigger Impact than Applause but twice as big as Applause..   I know that Applause is hit I know It is Independent, not overshadowed and not overshadowing other songs,  My first post was about something totally different, yall took some words from there and turned this Into a totally different conversation..

All I said was that The 2nd single must come In the end of October, riding from Applause's radio "power" (It's not power but It is enough) ... All I said was that they cannot release the 2nd single in 2014 ... That'd literally kill Gaga..

I thought it helped sales because it costs less to buy the whole album because you already paid for several songs.

 

I noticed Interscope has ARTPOP priced kinda low so that should help.

It helps ARTPOP sales but it would negate Applause sales.

"impact" doesnt really exit. 

the GP loves a song and that's it. they will forget 99.9999999999% of these songs in like three weeks. 

if you wanna talk about Applause's impact, you have to wait for like 5 to 10 years. then you'll see if it really "impacted" people.

I wont be having meltdowns even if Applause be pushed back outside the top 10. It has a good chart run already.

And im pretty sure if that happens, it will still hit 2M mark in the long run.

I think Katy definitely wants to outsell Gaga in albums. She's been pressed about Gaga ever since Gaga took her pop queen title away. Album sales and tours is all Gaga has left now. And Grammys :-)
