Or do you think Applause regained some of the hype and interest in Gaga's music that seemed to be lost at the end of the BTW era? Or is it something to do with the pre-orders of ARTPOP? Jump to #1 is caused by pre-orders but its still amazing how it went #6 without the pre-orders. After the next update she will fall, after that we will see if the song will recover properly.
