I would be more than happy if that happens tho..

it will happen if the era is as long as BTW era.

BTW went on to sell a lot after the album released due to constant promo that it didnt had during the single era.

The same case with applause.

So Roar did better than BTW coz it's now at 3x platinum and still at the top 5.

Prism era is def. not and not going to be a replica of BTW era. :legend:

as much as i hate to say, Prism is going to be a big era, maybe not as long as TD but it will be successful due to momentum from TD.

Having said so, i still don't like the album.

I think that ARTPOP would do great on HAC/AC if it's as amazing live as it is on the album :D.

Alright, I think I think this would be a great schedule:

What if VENUS will only be gaining healthy updates in late January? Then there will be no point in releasing a new song at the top of 2014.  We can't know, but the timing here is tricky. The upcoming 2014 GRAMMY AWARDS is the major platform to give a performance for the single which will most likely help it do better on the radio and the digital charts.

The question is: should the 3rd signle or VENUS be performed at the 2014 GRAMMYS? And excuse me, I can imagine neither SEXXX DREAMS nor DO WHAT U WANT on the Grammy stage for some reason.

If VENUS is a solid record, if it's embraced by the radio and grows a little slower due to Christmas freeze so that by the end of January it will still be getting healthy updates on the radio, I won't mind her performing VENUS.

I can Imagine Gaga performing Venus + a ballad for the sake of ALbum sales .. which is great anyway .. and If the Ballad is the 3rd single even better .. they'll just release It later on Radio (1 week after the grammys for example .. )

Performing Venus at the Grammys would be a waste whether or not Venus is a hit. It will be long after its peak in every aspect (probably also radio). And even if Venus does last up until then, it'd be like throwing a bucket of water into a lake expecting to see a difference. The exposure it'll get on radio and youtube would have already reached its maximum potential sales.

A Grammy performance will be crucial in catapulting the 3rd single up itunes charts, thus radio charts. It'll need it because it'll be a post-album release single. It won't have the benefit of fans sending it to the top 10 on itunes.

So, some people here started saying Venus is not radio friendly and will peak at 100m AI and sell less than 2m...

While THEY HAVE NOT HEARD EVEN THE SONG!!!!!
