I think Venus will slay everything. By the way, Alejandro is certainly not only Lady Gaga's biggest hit in my country but one of Pop's biggest hits of last 10 or so years. It is played everywhere . I went out last night to eat and have a drink and I heard Alejandro in both places.. yes In Bulgaria Alejandro is Gaga's biggest hit just behind Poker Face (Bigger than both JD and Bad Romance by far ) and In the Europe as a whole It's one of the biggest pop hits the last 10 years ... only Bad Romance, Poker Face, Diamonds, Love The Way You Lie and some more are bigger ... Regional oddity. I find it hard to believe Dark Horse is #3 after 4 weeks without backing from NZ radio. Still think promos 1 to 3 weeks pre-album are better than 5 weeks early. What is OBAMA 0 Posted October 19, 2013 Share Posted October 19, 2013 Venus MUST be HUGE i mean, DWYW is already so catchy, we haven't heard much of GUY, and Sex Dreams could also be huge but i'm feeling that song COULD not be released as a single because the censure will hurt it but Applause was chosen over alll the mentioned above :megaflop: anyway i heard a theory that said, maybe applause was the only PERFECTED songs among other and she wantd to work more on remeaining songs, so they chose that Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think PRISM could get quite a lot of sales for a Katy album though; possibly pwards of 500k opening week. But after that 100k for 4 weeks then it will die down, and I also think she will re-release a lot sooner than TD. If Gaga doesn't go number 1 with Venus she won't at all, but ARTPOP will have longevity as an album with moderate opening sales that will continue into Black Friday, Christmas and early January before dipping for the annual black spot for albums. Harry 26,836 Posted October 19, 2013 Share Posted October 19, 2013 Gaga definitely has plenty of single-worthy songs for this album and we haven't even heard it in full yet. I remember my first thought when I heard Born This Way in full was - wow this album is really ****ing good, but none of these new songs sound ready for radio. DWUW, Sexxx Dreams, G.U.Y and MANiCURE already sound like potential hits. And there's still so much more to hear, maybe Donatella and Gypsy are incredible too, maybe Dope will finally become Gaga's big ballad hit. So excited about the potential this album holds.
