Gov Hooka 8,008 Posted October 15, 2013 Share Posted October 15, 2013 to be fair, katy took risk by putting so many slow songs on Prism, but i'm not feeling them atm. interesting to see whether GP is here for ballads from katy, or as people claim GP are only here for poppy songs from Katy unconditionally will tell us They will be here for ballads. TOTGA/Wide Awake peaked at 3/2 so maybe they won't be here for ballads as much as they are for happy poppy Katy Perry. She might not be as successful this era judging by the music she just released. And the thing about Rihanna's Stay was that the vocals were believable. She can make something unique, edge, creative, and fun and energetic and passionate all at the same time. No one else in the industry can even come close to making the music Gaga does. PREACH IT SISTA! I love the musical diversity and different overall sounds from each of her albums. I guess this is my first complete era with Gaga considering I only started liking her midway through BTW so now I am really understanding what her artistic direction is. Every album of her is like a complete new experience. Each album is so diversified. I really love this gurl so much :cry: TF has the electronic dance pop + disco vibe TFM has the euro heavy dance + dark vibe BTW is so diversified, it has euro dance, industrial heavy beats, 80s vibe, rock ballad, dance pop etc ARTPOP is heading to a good direction. It's definitely the least catchy single in Katy's discography. Maybe it will still slay because of Katy's radio power but I wouldn't be surprised if this is one of her least successful songs.
