Remember that singles are to promote an album and albums are to promote the tour, so in the best case the single would peak in the week of the album release and keep getting strong airplay for album longetivity. the song will still remain on its position on itunes top 100, just that in hot 100 chart it will have little or negative sales. it won't impact its exposure. only chart position will fluctuate for a week and back to normal after that Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

The only thing we have to worry about is Rhythmic/AC because it seems like it just started doing good there, and TeoG made all other singles of the BTW era do bad on AC radio because it still had 10m AI at like #6 in November Applause will probably freefall when the next single arrives, because the spins from Applause will go to Venus instead i don't want radios to prefer applause over venus.
