I'm gonna assume it's just been edited down a load and the structure will still be the same in the album version. Then I will have no problem. I guess we will find out soon if it is put on iTunes! Anyway I must sleep now since I have to be waking up in less than 5 hours. Hopefully I will wake up to Aura at #1 ............... lol. I absolutely hated the verses of the demo when it first came out but learned to accept them. So glad she got rid of the annoying screeching. Also love the "Tech Dance" lyric in the bridge. kupo 201 Posted October 10, 2013 Share Posted October 10, 2013 The new version is definitely more commercial, but I think the aggressive verses of the demo worked better and made for an all around more unique experience. This loses a lot of the oomph, a lot of the passion the original had. But, for being a promo that you're giving to the public, it definitely works better. So there are pros and cons. It's six of one, and half a dozen of the other. I do hope she doesn't sanitize too much of the album, though. Not here for worrying about the lowest common denominator. You can just swap the official version for the demo in your iTunes when the album comes out. Meanwhile, the GP who buy the album or see the song on iTunes will be exposed to be a much more commercially-viable version of the track. It's a win-win as far as I'm concerned.
