Not only do I think BTW is WAY superior to TF and TFM, but it basically ruined Gaga's entire reputation to the GP and lost her a ton of fans she gained in the first three years of her career. So yeah, definitely not my favorite album. I'm just saying, Applause is doing good things for Gaga. And it's a good song. No need to keep saying you don't like it. Well apparently you stan for the success, and If BTW was more successful than TFM you would've been praising It ... where is the point ? In the end the music is the same... Well we all know what happened there. BTW and TEOG were her only real hits from the BTW era. For Applause to even reach 100M AI is amazing and her sales are pretty stable. Katy's coming off her best era (which I hope doesn't happen again with PRISM) and all her singles from TD did amazing. I don't know about you guys but to me Applause is definitely a hit.
