If people buy certain songs off an album rather than buying the entire album, it counts as individual song sales. Which is why album tracks often chart during an album release week. Meanwhile, people who have already bought (I'm using Katy as an example) Roar, DH, and/or WOA may use the Complete My Album feature to download the rest of the songs for the remaining cost of the album (like if someone bought Roar, they could CMA for $13.70), but then that single sale essentially gets deleted in favor of an album sale. Oh okay. Sorry I worded it badly. I was just asking when an album is purchased, why doesn't it count as a sale for all of the songs on the album?
