Applause has also sold a third of what BTW sold by this point.

BTW sold 3 million 6 weeks into it's release?

I understand that Born This Way hit #1 so naturally it would fade faster as more people downloaded it sooner, but this shows that whilst Applause didn't peak high (by high standards) it didn't fall typically as a song would.

Find it hard to believe that BTW had such overwhelming radio support in week 7 and 8 that it could be #4 and #5 on Hot 100 while being 10 on itunes. Unless it slipped below a batch of Glee songs for a day.

Take it up with them.

BTW was at 3M after 6 weeks? Mess.

No. It barely reached 2 million, if I'm not mistaken.

Week 1 - 448K (3 days availability only)

Week 2 - 509K (GRAMMY week)

Week 3 - 286K (reached 101 million AI on radio)

Week 4 - 231K

Week 5 -176K

Week 6 -182 K

Total: 1.8 million

Just correct the figures if I'm wrong.
