Someone earlier said the pop girls were banned from the electronic dance award, may I ask why?

To give EDM artists like DJs a chance to win that category.

If they wont do that, Gaga will always win on that category

Applause is currently 49 days into its release and is #6. Born This Way, at this point in its release was at #10.

It's really holding on.

Applause has also sold a third of what BTW sold by this point.

In what country?

Born This Way was #1 for 6 weeks US and 7 weeks in Canada. It lasted 9 weeks in US Top 10

It's dumb. If Billboard considers Applause an EDM song, I don't understand why the Grammys wouldn't. It's especially not fair because if Just Dance hadn't won for best electronic song in 2009, Gaga could've been nominated for best new artist in 2010. The Grammys just like to **** her over lol

I believe that's iTunes, not the official Billboard charts.

Find it hard to believe that BTW had such overwhelming radio support in week 7 and 8 that it could be #4 and #5 on Hot 100 while being 10 on itunes. Unless it slipped below a batch of Glee songs for a day.
