Its a funny, fun image, but I dont see anytning ground breaking. I just think its funny. I dont hate it either. I do, however, like the makeup. Just dont like the Where the Wild Things are overall look. And I am totally fine with her being ''ugly'', shes done it before, but in MUCH better, creative ways and not just throwing on a snuggie and ugly shoes. :trootea: :trootea: MTE. I definitely did not expect to come on here and see this kind of a meltdown. It is a stunning, forceful photo.... The contrasts of colors.. the direct gaze.. the pose of the body compositionally mirroring the shapes in the chair... the binary of the soft, almost shapeless fabric to the hard, structured chair which also mimics the binary of the age of the outfit and its forms in contrast with the newness of the chair all contained in a blank, white, timeless setting. The Fame advertisements were the silver lining of the Born This Way era, which was a complete mess aesthetically. This image rekindled all those tacky memories of the BTW era in my mind, and I had to retaliate. I don't want to go back to those times when her style was atrocious and her music videos were awful.
