The question tho if this will translate into votes. It's a controversial, hyped performance and you know how haters can do the most sometimes. Take Poland here as the example. It's got half the views but I bet it's gonna be supported by Slavic nations who in return are less likely to give high points to Austria.

EVERY country has gays that want to be supported. In fact, the gays in countries like Russia and Belarus might actually support Conchita more, because it actually matters a lot to them. Yes, I didn’t say they would give NO points, but how likely is it for countries in the East part of Europe and even more so countries like Armenia, Azerbaijan, Albania and Georgia to give 10 or the full 12 points to Austria? I think those chances are really small. And I can even see Russia filtering them votes to make sure Austria doesn’t get much points cause they don't give a fvck, but that’s an exception ofc. Hm.. could be. Just remember that Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia and Romania are just as important as San Marino, Malta, Iceland, Albania and Montenegro in Eurovision. I think that a lot of countries will give 8~12 points to Austria and that it will end up in the Top 5. Same could be said about our country, I doubt East-Europe is here for country like West-Europe has shown to be.

What you said is true and also the example with the turkish Minority. But will russia or belarus say the right results?

No that's true but people love to be surprised and then root for the underdog like the Netherlands, there is nothing offensive about the song what so ever, I bet 9 out of 10 countries will give the Netherlands points even if it's not the full 10/12. I'm not saying Austria is offensive but I'm convinced that a lot of people already dismissed it when they heard that it was a "woman with a beard" singing and not even giving the song a chance because of the performer (does that sound similar to someone we know ) Both of the songs will be in the top 4, I am convinced of that, just like I was convinced that Israel would not advance yesterday

I do think they'll tell people to not vote for her though, but that might only make the LGBTQ community there feel the need to vote for her even more. Only scary thing is the (possibly homophobic) jury. Those have a lot of impact.
mic 1,415
As for now I think that either some big5 country of the Netherlands will win. Russia will not flop guys, the will score no lower than 15 place imho, every east european country votes for mother Russia.
