Who should I support tonight? I haven't heard any songs yet like last time and last time I enjoyed Hungary most of all. So who should I support? (Apart from my country :rip: )

I distinctly remember when Sanna won Melodifestivalen, some members on here had a total meltdown and said that Sweden would flop because the song was boring :rip: And I said that I was happy she won and the song was beautiful. People have changed their tune now that she is slaying the betting odds.

Imagine if Alcazar had won  :millie:  :millie:  :millie:  Having said that, Ace Wilder's song was brilliant. But Undo >>>

Can someone explain to me how the jury voting works for the final???

I know the results for each country are split half televoting and half jury voting, and that the jury's decide on their votes the night before the finale after they've watched the dress rehearsal. But there is footage of the voting footage of the dress rehearsals from previous years on YouTube, and the spokespersons are giving results. Are these results just random and mean nothing in order to practice for the show or are the results they are giving what have been provided by the juries?

They are so different to the results that are actually given on the night, and those votes have no impact in the actual show so I can't see how it could be anything other than random countries being said for rehearsing purposes?

The Second semi final has better songs than the first one! My favorite is Austria aka the bearded lady. Ireland, Israel, Switzerland, and Norway are also great

Maybe she won because it was her 7th try at Melodifestivalen? I mean Ace Wilder did much much much better on the charts in Sweden (4 weeks at #1) :P

Apparently the Dutch song got the maximum score from the jury during the semi-final

maximum score as in all 12 points possible or just more points than the others? :omg:

Just to make sure we are talking about the same jury, I'm not talking about points by voters, but the jury that gives points to the acts before the live semifinal... They got the maximum score, as in highest possible score, if news sources aren't lying :rip:
