She can also be talking about her family too, I know she says 'in love,' but in her tweet she's indicating that she is saying goodbye to loved ones as well, and that her work (like any person's job) takes her away from family and lovers.

 

I think it's incredibly powerful, and is still adamantly about the fans, indicating that despite being in love, she's going to be singing for a living, even if it breaks her heart.

Uh can we take a moment to notice the "thanks for taking me back" in the song?

I remember that there was a rumour that Gaga broke up with Taylor before the start of the BTWB because she didn't want to be halfway around the world from her boyfriend, but we found out that the rumour was false, or that they had at least gotten back together, when he came with her to the Australian dates. Maybe they really did break up? It fits the meaning of the song.

I have a feeling that gaga is going to release ARTPOP: Volume 2 in about a year and then release ARTPOP: The B-Sides and then get married to Taylor. I think ARTPOP as an album is a philosophy and an album and its bringing up deep issues like her relationships. I really think ARTPOP is going to be a long lasting era since it isn't really a concept album and she is still writing music. I could see her taking a year or two off after this tbh...maybe in like 2015
