I agree with everything she said

I feel so left out not hearing any of the other songs. But I'm sure it will be more than worth the wait!!

The joy of having hit singles is somewhat diffused when your album sales are lacklustre. Despite amazing eras from the likes of Katy and Rihanna, they've never had an album sell like The Fame (that's not including combined sales from TFM). Neither have they ever had a tour that's come close to pulling in the audiences and grosses of TMB (or even TBTWB). Hell, most of their singles aren't even absorbed into the public consciousness. Katy isn't taken seriously by any music committee outwith the VMAs and the Teen Choice Awards, or indeed, by anyone over the age of 30. Rihanna has released far too many singles for the public to recall outwith her hardest hitting ones and she also releases too many albums for the public to acknowledge and keep up with. Gaga is one of the few current popstars who has high album sales, moderately successful singles, $200 million grossing world tours and critical acclaim. Every artist has one weak link in that set and for Gaga, it's apparent that her power as regards singles is waning. But she's still got the other three and most artists actually have two or three weak links in that set. Gaga knows where she stands as regards her music and wants to focus on doing what she does best - huge album sales and massive world tours. Much better than some #1 singles that no one can remember in five years and barely making $50 million on tour.

You live for the

Yes Yes Yes! i was afraid that the songs she played were the best ones. (Not saying that I don't like them. Swine, ARTPOP, Aura and Applause slayed me)

‘I haven’t really shown everyone what I can do yet. There is so much that I have to offer that has been hidden for a long time because everyone wanted to clean me up and make me a pop star for the world.’

And Gaga proved that with Jewels N' Drugs, only Gaga can drop a single like Born This Way and then on the next album have the most ghetto, 90's sounding, gangster rap song and actually pull it off!

Gaga is a true artist.

I thought the exact same thing when she premiered that at iTunes. I was like "WUT!? Born This Way to THIS!? She did NOT EVEN! But it works!"  :worship:

How is she going to handle it if ARTPOP will turn in ARTFLOP?

I already love ARTPOP, SWINE and AURA. MANiCURE is great and Sex Dreams surely not a bad song. The only one i could get was Jewels & Drugs. She keep saying "I'm going to change the world" "with ARTPOP I'm going to conquer the planet earth." "Judge me on the album" as if she is sure to have a BIG HIT in her hands. If she flops this will be a great letdown for fans to deal with.
