VasilisVas 5,135
It's okay to dislike her new music, guys. Not everything is for everyone. Just let the boy be and stop attacking him for posting his opinion..
elijahfan 25,940
This is totally me. Hearing the new stuff today literally made my heart sink. I love her to death but it just wasn't for me at all. I did like Swine though, just definitely not happy with Jewels N' Drugs. Makes me feel like she's being something she's not with that song just to be more commercial. It just, idk. Maybe I'll change my mind after hearing it more but idk if it's very likely. I love some of the songs, so maybe I'll like the rest that are on the album. Guess we'll see, I just feel heartbroken though. Also, I wasn't expecting it to sound like TF or BTW but I def wasn't expecting it to sound how it did. And you should know this is coming from someone who literally doesn't have a single Gaga song that she dislikes...ever. Fair enough concerning J&D, it's also the one I probably enjoyed the least. But you can't say she tried to play it commercial there... It's like the riskiest song she's ever put out to date, and she even addressed this point in her introduction, saying she wouldn't be staying inside the box where pop artists are put. PrinceTay 0
You are entitled to your own opinion. HOWEVER, in order for Gaga to be a true artist, she has to evolve musically, mentally, and spiritually. Being a fan and majority of the fans can agree that it will get boring if she made the same kind of music over and over again. IMO these songs are her best to date. Like Gaga said before performing Jewels N' Drugs, she wants to be out the box not in it. So some fans are trying to keep her in the "Pop" box and its never gonna happen. I love that she's evolved more and expressing her love for all kinds of different genres and not just one. That's a true artist in my eyes. But if you're dissappointed that's fine. EGOT2027 10,890
I find these songs to be incredible and you can't even realize how good they are until you go back and listen to her previous albums and they just sound so freaking basic. I'll admit the songs aren't as up-tempo as I was hoping for, but they are still amazing. GAGA HAS SLAYED ME, ONCE A F****** 'GAIN!!!! GRAMMY FOR ALBUM OF THE YEAR 2015 HERE WE COME. Raikov 183
I have no comment about anyone's opinion because everyone is entitled to their own thoughts however just from reading this it is crazy that the opinions vary so much and it is literally so impossible for gaga to please everyone It's impossible for anyone to please everyone. Gaga is no different and she shouldn't try to please everyone. She should make the music she wants to. If that's what she's doing with ARTPOP, good for her. I am under no obligation to like it and she is under no obligation to stop.

I think the live version is awesome. Do you honestly need EVERY song of Gaga's to be uptempo, dancey, and clubby? Can't we just have a few that aren't? It would seem to expected if every song was a dance track (or a similar dance). Sorry, but I hear this for EVERY song Gaga releases when people whine "it's not too fast" "it's not a dance track". Jesus christ. Anywayz, I agree with the rest, except I love ARTPOP. Spyro the Dragon
gabeceb9 0
I loved her performance! She did an amazing job! Aura was one of my favorites. Also ARTPOP, Jewels N' Drugs, Swine, and Applause! Her work always amazes me. If you don't like an artist or the new music, simply stop listening and go to another fanbase. We want positivity and music that makes us happy! and the new music definately made me happy!

I guess I just feel that way bc T.I. is on the track and I feel like it's in a way to combat the success of "Blurred Lines." Idk just my opinion (which isn't set in stone, sometimes hearing the music another few times helps me to accept that it's different and not what I expected)

benn90 0
I think this direction with the EDM was a massive risk that paid off beautifully - it's the best career progression she could have made. It has familiarity yet it's so far away from Born This Way and The Fame/Monster! And we've only heard half of the album tonight - there are more songs to come. Just be patient :) Don't be too dissapointed just yet
aquaprincess 23
ill admit i wasnt into ARTPOP and i was caught a bit off guard by Jewels N' Drugs (need to hear studio versions of both to be sure) but the rest i love and theres still 5 or 6? songs we still havent heard yet. also laughably bad is a little harsh. i think she just trying new stuff and seems happier than shes ever been to me because shes showing us who she really is. less makeup less "antics". i dont know if this will turn out to be my favorite album but im really loving this era so far and im looking forward to the album.
