Isla 2
No, i really like the new music & i'm excited for ARTPOP. She had her hip injury earlier this year so it will take some time but she's doing great on stage at the moment & i loved the VMA performance & the iTunes festival performances last night. PaperIz 7,346
I read the best songs were saved for when the album comes out so maybe don't feel bad. I didn't like the bulk of BTW at the beginning now it's probably my favorite Gaga album. Also not to be negative and laughably bad don't really fit together :P But no. I'm not disappointed at all. CyanLights 15,576
i feel like once the studio versions are released, we will truly appreciate the music. Live versions are always different
Milord 1
I'm not taking it personal, but it's the idea that "I'm a fan and I must like everything" that leads to overly harsh criticisms and people acting like spastic children immediately Gaga doesn't meet their expectations, case in point, this thread. If people just learnt to accept that they don't have to like everything and get over it, it all be so easy. But wouldn't it be boring if everyone agreed that what we've heard are the most amazing songs she's ever put out? It makes the discussion much more interesting, as long as people act mature. Everyone doesn't have to agree, that doesn't mean this has to turn into a war.
AbuHassan1992 766
It's ALWAYS difficult when you hear new music performed live for the first time - you don't get the same feeling as if you were hearing the album tracks. Personally, I'm SO happy with the new music - Jewels is a little meh and I don't see the fuss with Wanna Be With You but the rest are incredible. right. when kanye played new slaves and black skinhead for the first time on snl i hated them, now I love them
Milord 1
i feel like once the studio versions are released, we will truly appreciate the music. Live versions are always different I agree, plus it's the first time we hear the live versions before the studio versions of new songs.
George Black 0
Honestly her new songs slayed my life so much that I can't even care about other people's opinions. I'm seriously in love with the new direction Gaga is taking
Redstreak 6,653
Who is talking about the Chart success? TFM has sold 5M and it is still Gaga's best album. BTW- 7M and it is nowhere near to the quality of TFM Because you've made your point on here time and time again that your biggest fear is whether she'll be mega successful or not. You down play anything of her's that didn't have her on the absolute top. Edited September 2, 2013 by Redstreak Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~
Guest
Kinda as I said in some other thread, I don't see ANY of the songs she performed doing good good in the charts With this album I expected her to go back to awesome catchy pop songs, but she went a different direction. Gonna wait for the studio versions to start b---hing though lel Edited September 2, 2013 by ABC

MonsterPaws 2,726
I loved everything about it especially the performances though i'm a bit dissappointed with J&D i like the song but the fact that it is one of the 15 songs just makes me feel uneasy. I would prefer if it was some kind of bonus track. But i still loved everything :legend:
