It doesn't seem like it's anything "new".  I don't want to sound like I am throwing shade on Gagz more so just trying to understand!  the whole point of ARTPOP is bringing art into popular culture. making things that are different and artistic popular. although agree applause sounds like a pretty generic song for gaga, the video makes reference to many artworks, therefore bring art into popcultre. Didn't she say she hates the word Deluxe for Albums? If anything there'll be a "Special Edition" again :P That's what I thought too at first.
