I've never seen this happen before - Cheryl's remix (it is a remix, right?) is about to overtake the original version on its next kworb update. Does that affect her overall chart position? I know remixes count as a sale for the original version, but if the original has been overtaken by the remix, does it not mean the overall song loses its chart impact somewhat? It's obvious that her fans tried really hard to get her to #1, but as the song started falling dramatically the next day as all the fans had bought it, they decided to all buy the remix en masse to help bolster the song up again, which explains why the two versions are right next to each other and the remix is rising but the original is falling. Ed's holding extremely steady at #1, his lead is rising all the time and he has another version at #47 that's on the rise. Could he possibly hold on to that #1 for another week? It also depends on the streaming power of their songs. Is streaming for Cheryl's song high?
