If not, I have a slight bit of respect to the label for not putting it on pre-order like everyone else. What a week for her to debut her lead single, though, when 2 pre-order tracks have just been put up for general release. All the better, then, for this awful song to get nowhere near the top 3, never mind #1. I wonder if her pre-order album system works the same in the UK? (if you pre-order the album, you get the lead single right now as an instant grat track). If that's the case, I wonder if that means she'll be in the same situation as Gaga, where any further singles she releases before the album won't count as a sale for those who pre-ordered? But they are incredibly loyal, and she has a very very good reputation. It's obvious she has a good image, because even after dating hundreds of guys - she's still pictured as the sweetheart that's relatable and successful. Remember taylor is coming back off one of the biggest eras ever, and one of the most successful touring eras ever. Shake It Off will do very well, and probably 1989 too... I'm not jealous at all, because I know that Taylor's played the game very well. She knows what she's doing and she has a good team. I'd say don't be bitter, just accept it. I can't believe it that I'm actually rooting for Guetta. I was genuinely surprised at how good and different his new single is. It definitely deserves #1 over Shake It Off.
