Can't believe that It's My birthday (will.i.am) is number one

It is such a bad song

Can someone explain to me how the new integration of streaming works? Does it just mean streaming only on services like soundcloud, Google Play, etc, or does it include YouTube videos and any other instance of the song online? Nicole's Your Love debuted at #6 (same as its iTunes position), but it sold 47,125 copies (that was with a 6 week pre-order, ouch), which apparently made it the third most popular song this week but the reason why it was at #6 was because there was a lack of people streaming it. So, I'm rather confused as it mirrored her iTunes position. Before, the kworb charts gave about 90% accuracy to what was going to be #1 this week. Now because streaming isn't included in those charts, is there any way we can tell now who's going to #1?

 

With this in mind, I guess that Cheryl's still going to #1 this week with her massive 2 month in advance pre-order? *blows raspberry*

Damn, Gaga didn't even make the top 40. She only had a month and a half of album sales last year too. Oh, well, at least she has hit the 200k mark, so we've at least got a gold album. It'll gain a lot more when she comes back here to do her UK shows and hopefully some more promo while she's at it, though. Just under 100k to get to reach platinum status. It's gotta be possible even if it takes another year. Things could still be worse. Pure Heroine still hasn't even hit gold yet and its been out two months longer than AP and had a #1 lead single and promo at the BRITS. And this is Lorde's debut. Gaga's selling more than her despite this being her fourth release, having had no UK #1's since 2010, very limited UK promo and being deemed irrelevant. Puts it all in perspective, right?
