Well yeah, if you're a headliner. Set lists of other acts only really get shown in full during the day, or single performances as highlights. It will help, granted, but I can't remember a time when a non-headline slot has had that much of an effect. But headlining Glasto is a huge slot. Beyonce headlining the day before dropping 4 definitely saved her era here, for sure.

It has a huge effect, not necessarily to only headliners! Can't remember which band it was (I think the vaccines) but their album went back into the top 10 just by their performance airing.

Of course she'll let it be streamed. Her label would encourage it

She didn't let her coachella show be streamed  :ohno:

Infact I can't remember the last time a set from her was shown on tv since 2012  :ohno:

I remember that, The Vaccines had a major discount on iTunes at the same time and it was advertised on TV. I also remember Janelle Monae's album having a decent boost from a Glastonbury set cos she got great reviews from it. It can definitely happen but it isn't necessarily a given.

When Example co-headlined The Other Stage last year Amazon reported his album sales went up over 2538%

Here's an article about how performing at Glasto affects sales: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/glastonbury/10331053/Playing-Glastonbury-can-increase-album-sales-twentyfold.html

To be honest he probably didn't have to sell that much more to get a percentage increase like that lol

But yes of course it has a great effect on sales, as long as you get the audience.

She really won't, West Coast sales will reflect that, iTunes preorder is nothing, Mariah was at #9 and she's sold less than 5k in the midweeks

Born This Way could have been a huge #1 had it been released on a sunday. Only just noticed how much it's sold :O

Also Applause and DWUW have high sales that a number one sells these days..

all together DWUW is at 300,000+ and that is way more than the average #1 recently.

Ahwell :')
