We thought that with Venus on the x-factor though

i don't think that the variables were all lined up in the end. doing two songs rather than one, not having the songs ready to order on iTunes directly after the show + many other things.

by the way, 1D have a huge boost from CIN last night and they're on jonathan ross tonight. doesn't this, plus robbie wiliams' boost, increase the likelihood of DWUW not being in the official top 10 on sunday? i know it was 8 on the friday update but i'm not sure how much separated her and robbie...

Looks like their boost was too little too late in the week to knock Gaga from #8.

Though I worry about staying top 10 next week if there are more strong releases and no DWUW video.

If DWUW misses top 10 :deadbanana:

it won't I'm sure  ;)

Also, the week when the video comes out will be huge too!

Also, Lily Allen's new single Hard Out Here comes out at midnight

omg that means DWUW will be out of the top 10..

I'm listening to some Chemical Brothers and reading their discography on wikipedia.

They're been disqualified from charts for some interesting reasons too.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Chemical_Brothers_discography

A ^ Further was deemed ineligible to chart on the UK Albums Chart due to all copies of Further giving buyers the chance to win an iPad; chart regulations forbid merchandise or prizes being used as enticements to buy releases.[38]

"Music: Response" is the fourth Chemical Brothers single from their third album Surrender. This EP was not eligible for the UK Charts because it had five songs instead of three songs, which is required for qualification

Nobody really watches the EMA's here so it was never going to help lol

It'll start climbing once radio get behind it which should be within the next couple of weeks. It doesn't officially impact until the end of December.

Americano

Is X factor on tonight? I hope they air a DWUW commercial to get it up to #8 or so before Sunday releases

Yeah it is but I don't think that could save it from the releases that much. Think we just need to wait them out and hope she can come back in with the help of radio. And then just pray the video doesn't come too late.

Think about it, we already would've had a few solid weeks in the top ten if it wasn't for that stupid rule -_-
