It will do her damage like BTW did to Gaga, but Katy wouldnt be able to recover cause she is reallly basic and doesnt have much stans. Applause is doing well and I'm surprised it's holding up, but honestly from what we've heard ARTPOP is going to be full of smash-worthy singles and it would be great to see one of them smash I really think Katy's career will end after prism. You're right that if she loses the general public she's probably over, but because her music is so basic that's not going to happen. Holy Grail had last week better streaming because of the video release. So we dont know how close or far from Applause really is this week. Wake me up is at 8 and Royals at 12 on streaming chart. Gaga is at 6, so at the moment she has better streaming. i'm talking about radio though. Do you know that on airplay, Holy Grail is about double size of applause? and airplay has the highest weightage in calculating hot 100. streaming has the least weightage no chance of overtaking Holy Grail, Royals and Wake Me Up when applause is falling behind on sales, airplay. This so much. and it sucks that theres even a chance that it wont because every single really is smash worthy. And its really disturbing that something as basic as roar is #1 while theres so many other #1 worthy songs on billboard 100 right now that deserve that #1. Till the world ends is a more relevant example in terms of Lady Gagas field. Both MANiCURE and Sex Dreams have that potential.
