Americano 31,061
Applause era =/= ARTPOP era. Stop the drama. It's the lead single

Gerrard174 697
I don't even want her to keep rising at this point looking at her WW numbers. What's going to happen to the ARTPOP era in those countries? Is it just not even going to happen? It's absolutely awful for her commercially that her era has stalled so quickly, in so many big markets. The impact on her touring with the next tour is going to be huge, unless she does something. And that either means going to France and Germany ASAP or a new single, which is already off the table because she's doing good in one country. The fact she has booked NO promotion in either Japan or Europe is mindblowing to me. MILEY CYRUS is promoting more than her in EUROPE. no. miley is largely promoting her album with 2 singles. gaga should do that in late october or beginning of november
Gilly 475
And when she rockets to 100M AI, you're gonna regret this post. That's not gonna happen. Britney has never been too big on radio + her last debut single was front loaded. HIAM debuted with almost 500k and it didn't even go 2xp. The follow singles weren't even that big (TTWE was the only "big" hit in the USA). I Wanna Go failed to even reached double platinum despite it being her highest airplay hit. I don't think we should worry about Britney.
Gerrard174 697
It's the lead single many albums went on the sell millions even lead single underperformed Beyonce is one of those example.
jhonyguy04 3
It's the lead single U are being way too pessimistic. Rather she be US local then Kiley Minogue.
Blues 0
Born This Way sold 3.92 million so far, it should hit 4 million mark in 3-4 weeks :D Still 80k left, more like 30-40 weeks.

It's only September 13th. ARTPOP release date is literally 2 months away. She's either going to start promoting closer to the release date and let Applause grow (or fall) on it's own, or maybe she's planning on promoting the 2nd single more since it will co-exist with the album release. VforVendetta 2,024
It's the lead single Yes, it's not the only single... Also even in the top 20 the song is stil selling enough for Europe. Sales are frontloaded here. Streaming and Radio make the hits! Of course it could have much better sales but they are OK.

Bitter 3,640
britney's lead single will smash, mark my words. Gaga needs the best song off ARTPOP as the second single. There is no room for another moderate hit. she needs to smash this time.
Gerrard174 697
Then why even bother releasing a single if you're just gonna let it flounder after a week if she used up all promo spot for a LEAD SINGLE what she gonna do with second single and album after that? you are too much like bryan last time.. VforVendetta 2,024
I love britney but I find it very difficult for her to smash at this point, especially with a song like this. She WILL have success but she won't smash. And I am not one of those who claimed that Katy Perry would flop...
