I hope Demons becomes a top 10 hit. That song is amazing

Oh yes please.   I'm actually glad that it's been playing around the 20s on iTunes for the past few days. I still remember that time when it got stuck in the 50s-60s like forever.

Born To Slay

I never said there wasn't......................

But if the power of straights is pushing Eminem's song above Applause and there's straights here also, why the power be on Eminem's side?

because the straights here that bought Applause bought it during Week 1.

Oh, okay that makes sense.

Sometimes I just want to be the one who plans Gaga's eras. She'd slay so hard.

Applause would be 5x Sapphire right now.

I would have so much more faith in you than the old, delusional hags making the decisions at these labels.

I want to just listen in to a conversation they have regarding single choice and planning...

It's not even top 30 on pop yet and it's that high, which is a good indicator it will do well

Once those heavily played commercials stop, Berzerk would likely right away lose its top 10 exposure. It's not even that big on radio. And it's also neither the best song from Eminem. But then again, I expect his promo to grow bigger as we near towards the release of his album.

What pisses me is his album is going to sell more than ARTPOP.

:grr:

Yeah, he's a massive album seller, not just in its opening week. Almost all of his albums have sold over 10 million worldwide, though I doubt he can still do it this time around.

What makes you say that?

Male rappers tend to outsell female pop stars in general, particularly during opening weeks.

coz he doesnt need to do a lot of promo and effort to get that 700k debut sales. His lead single is not even doing great.

I guess his rap fans and other rap audiences are that loyal. :fat:

Didn't The Fame Monster out sell Recovery? And Applause has easily outsold Berzerk, so she can out-sell him

But he had 2 #1 singles last era and was more popular then, Gaga has outsold him single wise so she can out do him album wise

Yup, rap fans don't usually buy the singles but the whole album. They're loyal to the end

I hope...Lol, what scares me is that Prism will probably be #1 till his release, then itll go 2 but idk if ARTPOP would be able to go #2 tbh

Ill be pissed if it 1.MMLP2 2.Prism 3.ARTPOP but I think thats worse case scenario

No. Recovery outsold TFM both in the US and WW. In fact, Recovery also outsold TF in the US by a little margin. And as for Berzerk, it sold more than Applause in terms of opening week sales as well. It debuted with 362K, peaking at #3 in the HOT 100 chart. And aside from that, rappers generally do not move single sales as much as pop stars. Lil Wayne is a good example of that. He only has one #1 hit throughout his entire career, but he has given some of the biggest opening week album sales in recent history. Same goes with the likes of Drake, Jay Z, Kanye, and yes Eminem.
