0.3500. Coming for Avicii and #3. Don't think it can make it to Blurred Lines without the VMAs but you never know.

i honestly think it's because roar can touch so many age groups. you have 8 year old girls who can listen to that song and will beg their parents to download it for them, because it has that young vibe and really no content that is exclusively for adults. not very many 8 year olds are interested in gaga... YET.  :ohwell:

I honestly don't think the vma's will help unless the entire thing is a flop and gaga does something never before seen like the paparazzi performance, otherwise it will just be another opening performance, and throughout the night something else will happen and everyone will forget about the performance and like I said in a different thread, if katy closes, it's all over.

Could I just ask - are a lot of worldwide charts not making Gaga eligable for officially charting yet? Applause has been on sale for a week now and the only charts that have been submitted onto its Wikipedia are Australia, Belgium (just the buzz charts), Finland, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, UK and US. Was it because of the rush release not making it eligable for the current chart? Will we have to wait until next week for worldwide positions? It's been #1 for a week straight on Greece, so why isn't it on the official chart yet? I just want to see the song be #1 on a chart somewhere in the world.

What I don't fully understand is how Roar has been solid #1 with barely any press coverage, it's never on the news unless they're talking about katy AND gaga, otherwise it's just about gaga, and trust me I watch all the different news channels and entertainment news also...it's weird, it's like everyone knows the song is out there, there's mass awareness, but not mass sales...so possibly it's just because Applause isn't that HUGE of a song, with the innate press coverage gaga gets really all she has to do is give a massively catchy song to go number 1 instantly

Cause its on the radio CONSTANTLY

RED UPDATE... eep.

Edit: It's only a very small drop and Avicii dropped the same amount, possibly a glitch with Kwob.
