I'm considering two facts:

- gaga haters are supporting Katy Perry this era cause she's "in fight" with gaga. That advanteges Katy so much.

- Katy with teenage Dream conquered a giant fanbase, in certain countries, for example the US, it has become bigger then gaga's, and she has more support from the radios. so these two things combined make her so strong.

Bad Romance never got #1 in the US but it's probally her most iconic song worldwide. the number one on Billboard is not essential to considering a single a hit or a flop. however I hope is gets longevity and has an amazing video that can help her on the hot 100

Like other people have pointed out, this is just iTunes. Roar and Applause might not even chart on Billboard this week, but when they do, *that* is when you should be worrying   But really, BR was only #2 and is way more relevant than most songs that whole year. #NotConcerned
