I find roar a way better single for the general public (in terms of generic pop) even Applause is better song afterall (and I preffer it of course xD), so since Katy is performing on the VMAs too I don't know how much impact we'll have... Anyway, Gaga needs time to get popularity again, two years without nothing new and the general public damage during BTW era make this kind of effect What damages during the BTW? I feel the general public got sick of Gaga during that era, even she consolidated fans she lost some of them too... I think the "love who you are no matter what" wasn't really attractive for the casual fans that got really tired of it (and part of it was because not every casual fan is gay or "different" and not every gay feels different to the rest for that reason). . Also the singles didn't help IMO. Well this is my opinion based on the reactions of the people who I know who were fans of TF and TFM gaga, they also said that BTW too experimental and have too much styles mixed for them (which I agree) I like the BTW era, not my fave though but I can understand those opinions and I guess the 2 years blackout doesn't help neither Edited August 17, 2013 by lauramonster Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm not bashing or anything i love GAGA to death but I honestly can't get into the song and as one of her biggest fans struggling to get into the song I can see how the rest of the US is having a hard time too. I like the song but I love weird songs, at first I find the chorus a mess, for me is an amazing mess cause I love untempo songs and weird contructions but don't you feel that it's a difficult to follow chorus? Or why do you think you can't get into it?
