NewYorkCity 10,462
emmm.... can you please stop comparing Gaga and Katy's numbers? You know that they are at different points of their carreers, katy is going to have her BTW with this single, she comes from a very succesfull era while Gaga comes from almost two years of absolutely NOTHING. I'll repeat what I said before: I would be worried if the song was actually bad, but it's amazing and everyone thinks that. So let it grow. Roar is SO bad (and I like katy, but that song sucks. And compared to applause, it sucks more.). Wait. And if it flopped, there will be more singles... this would be not like the end of her carreer. Weasel 12,525
People seem to forget that Madonna got through 300 top 10 singles sooo... It's like with every song people are saying: this will be the make or break of her career. Srsly, she already made it in the business. She doesn't need to prove it. I'm sure Gaga will have hits and misses like every other star on the planet
HeyYou 1
how much will the 13,5 million views help her for the charts ?
Creyk 16,836
. So let it grow. Roar is SO bad (and I like katy, but that song sucks.) ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND???!!!
SomethingMore 1,701
The U.S. chart means nothing fyi. Just saying. Yeah right :lmao:
leoj 2
She needs to stop alienating the public. The single cover doesn't fit the song sonically at all and quite frankly, it's off-putting. She also needs to give the gimmicks a rest. Music fans want good music- not gimmicks. it's not a gimmick... it's her expression

Skins 40
I'm hoping and praying that after some promo interviews, radios deals, the music video, and VMA performance the song will go to at least #3 again.
monketsharona 44,829
I'm hoping and praying that after some promo interviews, radios deals, the music video, and VMA performance the song will go to at least #3 again. that's possible, I'm pretty sure Roar is going to dip soon
lauramonster 267
The video + VMAs will probably help a lot, I'm expecting how a good VMAs performance can help in US. I find roar a way better single for the general public (in terms of generic pop) even Applause is better song afterall (and I preffer it of course xD), so since Katy is performing on the VMAs too I don't know how much impact we'll have... Anyway, Gaga needs time to get popularity again, two years without nothing new and the general public damage during BTW era make this kind of effect Edited August 17, 2013 by lauramonster
