truthfully, I think she'll annouce the dates after ARTPOP is released, and I am pretty sure the tour won't start until April or May 2014 in N. America.

I do not want her putting tickets on sale before the album's release. I've said time and time again that this practice is a cold-hearted money-grabbing ploy carried out by record labels when they fear an album's going to be badly received. After the first single, hype is massive for an artist and as such, the tickets sell well and what do you know, they later buy the album only to find out it's rubbish and now they're stuck with an expensive ticket to a concert supporting an album they don't like. All the artists who pulled this stunt recently had terrible albums and yet their tours were so successful purely because the public didn't know what they were getting into which is hardly an achievement. Gaga works long and hard planning her tours and they never follow immediately after the album, so I hope this one will be no different. At least with the BTWB, you knew that everyone in those venues wanted to be there because the album was over a year old and everyone knew what they were paying for. That is why her numbers and grosses were something to be proud of and a flop album wouldn't have drawn that much demand. Gaga needs to show that she can still pull in $200million+ grossing tours without putting tickets up prior to the album.

i agree with this. i know so many people who went to beyonce's mrs carter show thinking she'd have at least a new single to play there and... well.

it's quite misleading to lure people in when you might not have what they want to see/hear.

Wouldnt she start her tour where she finished for the born this way ball? She wont make those fans wait even longer for her, i mean she cancelled her new york shows. and if she has new york as one of the first ones, she will have to do hamilton and others as well, i mean otherwise her fans would be pissed. right? (I would)  :rockstar:

I would like gaga to release tour dates possibly within a month of ARTPOP release but the tour shouldn't begin for a few months after that, give the tickets time to sell cause we know how floppy the flop this flop ball were

No way. Too soon to think about that.

Anything can happen, the fame monster had tour a few days after the album released

I just doubt she's ready to plan such a long-term commitment to the stage yet. We'll see.

I think the tour tickets will probably be announced with ARTPOP, or she'll at least start talking about it, and we'll get dates in December. Then I think she'll start in Early February. And I think she should do an 80 show stadium tour. She could start in Australia, then go to Asia in Late March/ April. Then North America in June-September. Then she could do Africa in October. South America in November/December. Boom, easy tour for Gaga, but huge grossing tour. Give her almost a month in between legs.

are you just forgetting about europe or something?  :awkney:

I really think she needs to start with the shows she cancelled I think those and deserved a chance to see her first just throwing that put there because that was mentioned previously

If there is a second single before ARTPOP release, then I think she might announce a tour after ARTPOP.

If there's no second single before ARTPOP then not until the second single comes out.
