Ozzy8923 9
Gaga's chance at #1 > Katy's. Easily. chris honey get it together *insert Rihanna-hitting-fan-with-mic gif here*
craig 680
I was more initially impressed with Part of Me and Die Young than with Roar. It's hard to predict whether it will go #1, since it's the first big release since they changed the rules about streaming. And streaming is the big unknown variable. Mariano 958
Oh yeah because BTW era singles totally overshadow TD era singles we're talkin about lead singles and clearly Gaga has a bigger chance than Katy because she will debute with more sales and more streaming and the same amount of airplay If not more .. Ozzy8923 9
Oh yeah because BTW era singles totally overshadow TD era singles Yes, but lead singles are an entirely different scenario! Gags her selling power, streaming power, radio power [for lead singles/debut week] > Katherine. I mean...
craig 680
Gaga has a better chance of debuting #1 - more stanpower and facing Blurred Lines a week later. In giving odds at making #1, that fact trumps Katy having a slightly better chance at being #1 in a month or six weeks. Note that Part of Me only got #1 debut week and Wide Awake peaked #2 despite being a great song and getting discounted.

Robotboy 1,700
Oh yeah because BTW era singles totally overshadow TD era singles i THINK katy discounted and rent rappers for almost all singles to get that #1 Remember that you are unique. Like everyone else.
chris777 112
Yes, but lead singles are an entirely different scenario! Gags her selling power, streaming power, radio power [for lead singles/debut week] > Katherine. I mean... Katy sold 30M of singles with TD in the US, that means more digital power, she haves more radio power and longevity, also she gains more youtube views than Gaga i THINK katy discounted and rent rappers for almost all singles to get that #1 still California Girls - 5.4m Teenage Dream - 4m Firework - 6.2m E.T - 5.5m Last Friday Night - 3.3m TOTGA - 2.3m POM - 2.8m Wide Awake - 3m BTW - 3.9m Judas - 900k TEOG - 2.7m Y&I - 2.1m MTN - 500k I'm not saying Gaga will flop or won't get a #1 and just saying Katy has better chance to get a #1. That's all
WarriorPrince 1
Yeah, but Katy stands no chance in the first three weeks counting from her release date.
Robotboy 1,700
im sure gaga would get alot more sales with discounts and remixes for her songs too. still i think roar will get blocked until she does the same she did with previous singles. applause will debut #1 without any of that Remember that you are unique. Like everyone else.
Arturo 40,746
Gaga has a better chance of going #1, lets not :toofunny:
