I live for the Applause, Applause, Applause  :music:

At the end of the day Gaga made a great record and I think that, in time, that will reflect in the song's overall success and iTunes position.  I definitely agree that this era will have all kinds of longevity, and I still think this song can top the Billboard HOT 100 once it's had a little more exposure.

IA. No matter what, to me Applause is a brilliant song, and it's pop masterpiece. If the gp prefers a ripp off recycled song, let it be.

I think this era will be less successful then BTW, and next era Gaga will disappear. LBR. Katy won the longevity factor. She is just pretty and likable, and Gaga is way too out there, and not the typical standard of beauty. That is how the world works I guess. Anyways, I know I could get annoying, so this is my last crying post for the day. And I really need to get to studying. This has really stalled me.

how pathetic of you, lol .

Right? Gaga just released a new song and everyone should be extremely excited, yet we have 2 people who keep running around in this thread posting something negative every 5 minutes. So obnoxious. It really kills the mood.

It's alright. There are way more worse things in the world. It just happens. I just never going to put my heart into somebody so much. It sounds funny, but it really does affect me somehow emotionally.

I totally understand being affected by an artist if they're not doing well, but what I don't understand is the fact that you're saying she's flopping while she's basically smashing left and right worldwide

The GP has liked all of Katy's singles more than Gaga's since 2010. This is not anything new.

The AMERICAN GP.

They liked Tik Tok more than bad Romance too, and that's the template for Dr. Luke Katy sound.

Preach it! I have played Applause like 100 times already and It has been a while since I could do that without getting super annoyed with a song.

Can we at least agree that the meltdowns now still don't compare to those we witnessed during the MTN era?

There's always a bright side. :awkney:
