The sad part of Gaga's tweet is you can just feel the damage control and/or panic coming from her team.

Although I agree in a way, it was also a response to the fans freaking out.

You guys need to stop   This is an incredible number for a single that literally came out of nowhere after being leaked. It's obviously not going to top Roar when it doesn't have a radio deal until the 19th (as confirmed by Gaga). You can't always expect Gaga to top herself. "Bad Romance" opened w/ 142k & went #2 yet it's her biggest and most iconic song. Stop whining and get over it. Next week she'll be on top, just don't get your panties in a wad.

I just hope this video stabilizes the song and it becomes a decent hit, I know Gaga is probably horrified at how dramatic this is for her fans right now since she wanted this period in her career to end (in terms of meltdowns etc)
