But seriously, I really hope Applause will eventually give Gaga her fourth HOT 100 #1 hit, whether on its 2nd week or on its 16th week in the chart. In that way, she could still continue her streak of chart-topping lead singles from all of her full-length studio albums. I HATE how #1 was basically guaranteed without this messy release. I'm so disappointed but im not giving up. It just won't be this week. More exposure + more radio airplay + music video + VMA performance + iHeartRadio and additional promo could push this song to the top.
