Logan 20,727 Posted October 10, 2013 Share Posted October 10, 2013 Season one and season three parallels (thus far): 1) The doorbell chime is the same as the one belonging to the Harmon’s murder house. 2) Evan Peters’ character is dead, Taissa Farmiga’s is living. 3) Peters and Farmiga are ill-fated lovers. 4) Jamie Brewer’s character is Jessica Lange’s character’s favorite (as Adelaide had been to Constance). 5) Women enact violent revenge for injustices (Voodoo priestess for her lover + Madison for her rape versus Constance for infidelity). 6) The last name ‘Montgomery’ belonging to a person of great status (Madison versus the familial name of the original owners of the Murder House). Origins of the last name translate to ‘man’ and ‘power’. In both instances, bravado of power usually hides a deeper pain (Madison’s pretence of strength, Nora Montgomery’s corruption). There is a lightness and freshness that shines through all of the darkness. I love that. Plus its based in New Orleans, it's so great. Excited for more to come! Already liking this season and since I've always been a huge fan of bad ass female characters, I think this season will probably be my fave I'm really fascinated by Cordelia, because i get the feeling she's not as "passive" as she comes across and I can't wait to see the battle between Angela Bassett's character and Fiona I get the feeling that considering Misty Day's power, she's probably not dead Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

BUT, every year after finishing filming Lange says "Ok, that's my last one."
