They didn't really photoshop the original picture much. It's minimal, unlike past photo shoots. To me I think she's forgetting about BTW on purpose.

I honestly dont care about photoshop. Its just that they've made her look like shes been copy and pasted onto an image of a chair when in the original you know shes sat on it.

This is a professional photoshoot for her Album. It's going to be retouched and it only normal that she would want the HD version to be circulated. She also has the right to feel insecure about herself sometimes. She not some robot, shes human and has feelings!!! Stop telling her that she always has to be Born This Way, when half the people criticizing her (fans) don't even feel Born This Way. Of course she accepts herself, but that doesnt mean she has to stop retouching her photos when the purpose is for a magazine cover or promotional purposes.

Now move on.

If what she did wasn't genuine and she had cared that much about money, she wouldn't have put out an album like BTW, as smart as we all know she is.

 

I guess in a way she did box herself into a corner though. As much as she preaches self-love and whatnot, at the end of the day she's still a human who has her insecurities. Even if this was a simple matter of preferring the photoshopped image just because it was more polished and not even because of insecurities, she should have seen this response coming from some people. That being said, I personally wouldn't call her a walking contradiction, who wouldn't want to look a little more polished in something so official? Same - we're dealing with a mastermind of marketing here. This girl will get the headlines at ANY cost (and I love that about her). I think VERY little, if anything, she does is by accident.
