A female friend of mine got it almost a year ago and I'm still not used to it. I just don't like it. That doesn't mean she is not my friend anymore lol. I find it relieving that not everyone is blindly agreeing with what Gaga has done, its alright to disagree but we have to remember we don't dictate her life. Similarly, we have to remember that not everyone who likes Gaga will agree with what she does and have to do exactly the same, and that is preaching love and ****ting cupcakes. I can only safely suggest to wait and see how this develops, don't strain yourself too much on the image. The music is where the substance lies. It is really confusing when one day she wears the McQueen silver dress and the next day she channels Rooney Mara. What I'm trying to say is: she has gone through a spectrum of glammy hollywood girl, to high fashion model, to casual black, and now pretty extreme rock goth. In little more than a month, all while preparing to start a new era. It's even a lot to her standards. The picture you posted comes from an era (Alejandro) where Gaga sported that bandana and black leather all the time. It was (kinda) consistent. Now we see her dressing "normal" in some instances, high fashion in others (mainly official ARTPOP stuff), and now this. She is taking it to different extremes in a matter of days, which is not something she has done before - especially not when coming back from a break. The start of the Born This Way era was pretty consistent, even when you look at the 60 minutes interview which was recorded some time before the single was even released. It's a brilliant piercing to get coz it adds so much impact but can also be flipped up and disappear inside the nostrils at any time if needs be. Very versatile.... Also i would draw peoples attention to indian women with the same piercing and also the Givenchy haute couture collection from SS12, it doesnt have to be grungey amen to that. and just because she has this hairstyle does not mean it's going to be her look LOLLL Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
