ThisGuyTony 27,739
Do you think Lady Gaga had a fashion impact on other pop artists? I know that she isn't the first to wear outrageous/crazy outfits but it seems (I don't know much about pop stars before 2008. ) but I think she had an impact on the other pop stars. Some examples: Katy Perry - Wore normal clothes. And then she strayed wearing odd and unusual colorful outfits. Rihanna - Dressed normal but then started to wear weird outfits. Britney Spears - Wore weird/crazy outfit on her Femme Fatale Tour even though she never wore those type of outfits before. Miley Cyrus - Dresed normal but then started to dress like a bird. Christina Aguilera - Normal clothes but then "Not Myself Tonight" happened... Nicki Minaj - Yeah... :awkney:

Bad 32
I don't think she really influenced Rihanna. She started wearing edgier outfits during GGGB era which was before Gaga debuted. Britney's outfits weren't that weird either.

TimisaMonster 31,073
Of course they all changed after Gaga came on the scene! Gaga was the fashion "ice breaker" that made it possible for crazy fashion to be considered mainstream again! What would these artists be like without Gaga? THIS IS THE REAL PROOF THAT FASHION HAS CHANGED! Tell me 1 artists that had 6 costume changes for 1 award show BEFORE Gaga came on the scene? Every artist does that now, but don't give credit where the idea came from! Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify!
MetalHausOfJosh 0
Miley though? It was for a video since that's was the concept. It's not like she goes out in public like that :Miley:

Robotboy 1,700
well you answered it yourself. shes inspired by many before her, and she literally inspired all other female artists today. she is the one they follow. Remember that you are unique. Like everyone else.

dontbesweet 7
IMO, Gaga is over-credited for other people's fashion changes. Yes, she paved the way for more creative, original styles but she is not the sole reason why pop stars became more experimental with fashion.
