Meh, It's a bit presumptuous to think Katy and Gaga are just gonna sweep him from the top.

So, BL broke Mariah's airplay record. Does anyone think BL has a shot at breaking Mariah's longest running #1 record too? One Sweet Day was #1 for 16 weeks. BL will be #1 for 9 weeks this week. Only 8 more to go and it isn't slowing down yet.

His success won't be taken away from the two but people will definitely show more interest in Katy and Gaga considering they've been giving Robin all the attention since June

No, Gaga (not sure about Katy) will knock him off with her video + sales.

The charts have also been stale for a while now.  The competition is going to be upped very soon as many major artists are releasing lead singles.

If it holds up after that, then I'd say it has a shot.

There's also the chance that Gaga will knock him off of his #1 sales spot just for her debut week only.  It really depends on the music, but she does potentially have the power to do that.

I love Summertime Sadness so much that I knew it will smash! I was surprised to see it wasn't released in the US. Glad it has been released now!
