Ozzy8923 9 Posted July 1, 2013 Share Posted July 1, 2013 I was originally here for SLY but True Love caters more to P!nk's very strong Adult Contemporary audience, so it was a good choice in the sense that it can have the potential to do well on both Pop and AC vs. SLY which would be very limited to Pop since no adult contemporary stations would dare play a song like that. But, either way, I predict a peak in the lower regions of the Hot 100, in the 50's and below. She's not going to promote it and it's not getting any streams, it's as if a video never happened, and the song isn't selling, so I'd consider her lucky if she peaks in the 50's. It would've been the same video with Slut Like You, because Pink is on tour and doesn't have the time capabilities to film a proper video. The video isn't outstanding, but it really isn't that bad, and it fits the song nicely. I'm not even so sure SLY would've been risky - True Love was just the obvious successor to JGMAR, and I'm glad they went that route (even if it may be considered "safe").
