EDM is very faceless though. That can be both a massive strength and weakness.

I cannot find the interview for the life of me, but I do remember an interview she did really early on when she released the very first photo of herself and how there was hardly any images of her. She talked about how she liked how there was a lot of EDM artists and DJ's that never release a photo of themselves and how she really liked that.

*After listening to this interview she says something very similar.

16 year old prodigy Lorde known for her song Royals. Has praised Nicki Minaj saying that she is "such an important female in pop".

Not only a fan of many male artists (such as Kanye, Jay Z, Daft Punk and Chance The Rapper) Lorde has also previously shown love for a host of female artists including Courtney Love, Grimes, Miley Cyrus, Beyonce, FKA Twigs and Angel Haze.

Such a cool, opinionated girl.
