ryhanna 3,507 Posted January 12, 2014 Share Posted January 12, 2014 She was unconvincing for me, and the fact that she didn't seem right for the role only brought out the monotonous-ness of the character even more. I agree though, every other person from Amy to Christian Bale was amazing. I just didn't find J-law that good and I wish someone else and someone older like a Jessica Chastain had actually played that role, but it's just my opinion I respect your opinion, but I feel the opposite to you. It's not because I'm a fan of Jennifer, but because her character and performance was easily one of the highlights of the movie imo. She stole every scene that she was in and added a lot of depth to the character. That's not to say that any of the other cast members were bad, just that Jennifer managed to really make her character stand out (even in such a small role).
